PolyЯRon PCP 700

New generation high range water reducing plasticising admixture

Description

PolyЯRon PCP 700 is a high molecular weight, high-range water-reducing admixture formulated to produce high slump concrete at lower water to cementitious ratios. Concrete produced with PolyЯRon PCP 700 shows increased flowability while maintaining early and ultimate compressive and flexural strengths.

PolyЯRon PCP 700 is specially formulated to get good slump for extended periods of time, enabling it to be dosed at the batch plant or job site throughout the entire dosage range with early set times. Low slump concrete dosed with PolyЯRon PCP 700 becomes high slump concrete at the job site assuring good consolidation of concrete around reinforcing steel with little or no vibration.

PolyЯRon PCP 700is highly suitable for low watercement concrete.

Properties

  • Cohesive and non-segregating.
  • Consistent and controlled time of set throughout entire dosage range.
  • Accelerated construction methods resulting in earlier completion dates.
  • Reduced contractor placement costs.
  • Higher and earlier ultimate strengths.
  • Better flowing concrete with minimal bleed water.
  • Improved durability with lower permeability.
  • Higher modulus of elasticity.
  • Increased resistance to freeze thaw cycles lower water to cement ratio for a given slump.
  • Maximum slump retention for a superplasticizer.

Application area

  • PolyЯRon PCP is recommended for use in concrete where higher flowability and increased early and ultimate strengths are required..
  • PolyЯRon PCP improves flowability and strength while lowering placement labor costs.
  • Reduced shrinkage and creep
  • Improved resistance to sulfate attack

Dosage

The normal dosage is 0.5 to 2.0 litres per 100kg cement which includes replacements (if any) such as microsilica, GGBFS, and fly ash. In case if the required dosage rate is more than 2.0 litres per 100kg cement, consult HPI technical service department to customize the solution. The optimum dosage should be determined by conducting laboratory/site trials considering proposed mix design, ambient conditions and performance requirements.

Applicable standards

PolyЯRon PCP 700 complies with ASTM C-494 Type F.
